"Kahve is a magical gem in downtown SLC! Delicious food, desserts, and of course coffee and tea! And lemonade, moonmilk…the list goes on. They have vegan and gluten free options as well. Family run, community oriented, and incredibly welcoming! So many good things about this place and the people who are part of it."
"I came here recently for my birthday, after meaning to try for ages, and I was so pleased with my experience. Authentic Turkish coffee was made by an extremely kind and gracious fellow, while I had the pleasure of watching and chatting. I had an incredible pastry (I believe it was a cinnamon bun with pistachios - incredible) and just had a beautiful morning. If I lived in SLC I would be here all the time, but I know I will be back again soon."
"food quality: 5/5 service: 5/5 cleanliness: 4/5 value: 4/5 Tried out Kahve Cafe for the first time and it was a good experience overall. The cafe itself was very eclectic and is supposed to be relaxing/coffee-tree a lounge vibes. We ordered their famous Turkish coffees as well as baklava and rice pudding to try. The coffee was pretty tasty, but a bit sludgy at the end (they did warn us) and I was expecting a bit more the $3.50 - it was a size of a shot. After we paid, we were sent to the next counter and asked what type of sugar and spices we wanted to add. Not sure why this wasn’t asked at the cashier where it seems to make more sense, but it was fine. The only complaint I had was that I felt rushed as I wanted to do a small video recording of how the coffee was heated up, but then was asked to set aside so that the customers behind me could tell them what sugars and spices to add. The space was very small and we couldn’t all fit, so I couldn’t get back to the coffee to film. Not a big deal, but it was our first time there and just wanted to see the whole experience. After we received our food, we went up to the 3rd floor to find a place to sit. Along the way there were several rooms in the house that had people sitting and enjoy their food/ studying/ working. There were still a lot of dirty dishes left around, so it didn’t seem like someone was consistently going around and cleaning. The house was fun to explore and lots of decoration to look at. Overall, not a bad first experience!"
"This place is INCREDIBLE! Walked in and was blown away by the decorations and humbleness. I had heard many good things about the place and it exceeded expectations! We checked out the cafe and a lady asked if we would like to try the Turkish tea, which I had never tried before. She explained the process while she made it, and it was so enlightening and interesting to see! There are tarot cards, outdoor and indoor places to sit, along with free wifi (it’s on a portrait hanging on the wall). The tea wasn’t really my thing, but I’m sure for coffee lovers it was a truly authentic experience. There’s a bunch of other things on the menu besides coffee such as pastries. There’s three floors to explore and tons of games to keep you occupied! I would come here anytime to study or hang out with friends!"
"I absolutely LOVE this cafe!! The Turkish coffee and pastries are delicious. It’s fun to see how the Turkish coffee is made. The interior of the cafe is absolutely beautiful, like nothing I’ve seen before. It is very nicely decorated and super cozy. There’s lots of seating options with many cushions and pillows, so make sure to bring your friends and family! It’s also a great atmosphere for taking time to yourself and being able to kick back and relax. I really love the cultural and traditional feel of this place. They have many interesting books to check out on Turkey and coffee. The employees are incredibly sweet as well. I look forward to coming back here and am excited to introduce Kahve Cafe to others."
