"What a great place! It's a wonderful small-town experience, but it's also a nice movie theater with great sound and movie choices (not that *you* get to choose - there's one movie per weekend. But they choose good movies!). It's cash only, $7 per adult and $3-5 for popcorn, $1-2 for drinks. And there's a candy raffle!! They hand out around 10 candy bars to the winners before the movie, it's great fun. I'm here for about a month and I'll definitely be here every Friday night. EDIT: I've been here four weeks in a row and have won candy twice! It's definitely a fun experience and I still love it. The past two weeks, however, I've managed to sit right next to to very talkative parties, which is annoying. Last time was a row of non-stop talkative teens and the week before was a family with two bored kids who talked (and mom kept trying to explain it to them) and dropped things the entire movie. So, it's still a great value, a lot of fun, but like most movie theaters, it's the other people that can ruin the experience."
"The best community vibe in a theater. The locals come out every weekend and give it a great social atmosphere for everyone, even non Nedheads. Who doesn't love a casual, small town feel and a candy raffle before every screening?"
