"Rob, who was born into inheriting a managerial role at this establishment, has a condition called prosopagnosia, in which faces are incomprehensibly difficult to recognize, despite any amount of exposure. This allows me to exercise more compassion for the single staff member who still routinely cards a regular of six years, one who can positively ID every member on a team that I vibe with and have known more or less since I've moved into the neighborhood. With this insight regarding his neurological impediment, I do my best to be compassionate and understanding of this droll, sheepish, hornless troll a bull without horns, a dullard lacking male appendage, who finds what little purpose life will ever offer through this tiny little liquor store. 5* for the other folk who make this place feel somewhat neighborly. 1* for the shell of this wannabe man with a vacant stare, nasal voice, and a void within where a soul [I hope] once resided.. In short, if I can name you and every colleague that you work with, perhaps it is time to think twice about carding me."

"OK store. Prices aren't super-competitive, but the store is close to many residential units, so if you want to save time, it's a place to go to. Service is OK too, nothing is to write home about. I have rarely been asked if I found everything I need; also, while I've been here almost a hundred times in the past 7 years, and seen a wine tasting happening maybe a dozen of times, I have no idea who this tasting is for - I was never asked if I want to try a wine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

"I love this store for multiple reasons, it’s super convenient and most of the staff is really, really kind and extremely helpful! Prices are a little higher for certain items but I feel like the beer and wine prices are extremely fair and pretty on par with the larger liquor stores. Some of the liquor is is a few dollars extra but if that’s a big deal for people, go to Argonaut. This is a small boutique liquor store so of course prices will be a bit higher. The only less than stellar experience I’ve had here in the past 2+ years was recently. I had my dog with me and all of the workers are always so excited to see any dog. This guy who I think I’ve never seen before snapped at me because my 15 pound dog came up on her hind legs to get a pet while he was trying to put beer in a cooler. I was pretty taken aback by it since we were about 5 feet away from him and when he put the beer in the cooler he slammed the door and walked to the back which I thought was a bit unprofessional. I was a bit perturbed seeing as EVERYONE who works in this store is so friendly and welcoming. Hopefully I can just get lucky and miss his shifts from now on."
