"I recently resigned from this company. I was only there 4 months. This particular store has too many problems. The work environment was horrible. The manager who hired me was wonderful but once they transferred her and brought in the manager I had when I resigned, things started going downhill. The manager would let certain people get away with all kinds of bad stuff but would be quick to write up his good workers. I was overworked, accused of stealing and more. I felt pretty targeted while working there. I couldn't trust a soul. He ended up having a full team of women and would talk crazy to certain women. He would get mad if I couldn't make it into work and talk crazy to the customers. I would have multiple customers tell me how he would be mad at me and would take it out on them. The only time I would call out is for actual emergencies. The manager hates working doubles. As a manager, your responsibility is to work doubles if you have to. He put all that extra work off on his assistants and certain employees like myself. He would call Black Americans "colored". That's a racist term in my opinion. Why not just say that person, why colored? The manager would come into work late a lot, wouldn't notify anyone if he was going to be late. The pay isn't worth it either. I felt unappreciated when all I did was my job. I'd go above and beyond for them. I miss my customers because I grew a bond with all of them but I wouldn't recommend anyone work here."
