"Sketchway. Lots of homeless crooks at this location and Safeway REALLY needs some security. Saw 3 shoplifters blatantly stuffing their pants in one visit alone. And they are frequently out of produce and other daily items."

"I bought milk a couple weeks back that went bad fast. Thought it was a fluke but checked the dates next time; 3 days past expiration and there are still on the shelf. I dug to get one that wasn't expired. Its strange because there is hardly ever milk on the shelf to begin with. But having it half stocked with expired product? Unexceptable. From what I'm reading this has been an ongoing problem and all Safeway has to say is they are taking it seriously. Clearly they are not. Something needs to change. in the meantime anyone who can should go to a different grocery store. If you can't then beware! Don't waste your precious income on expired food and risk getting your family sick."

"I've shopped here about two years because it's convenient, but honestly I've come to hate this store. Between the argumentative employees and poor stocking, I feel like I have to get lucky to actually find what I'm looking for at this store. Milk is ALWAYS out of stock. Front end and bakery are friendly. Meat sections only good employees are the new guys, I've actually seen one of the old heads arguing with customers in the middle of the store. Pharmacy is argumentative about what insurance provides, went to another pharmacy and they took it! Got a warning on my car for shopping too long? It's just shopping for food, why does this place make it so hard and unpleasant?"

"UPDATE: went to pick up a script today to be told I don’t have insurance and they have been haphazardly applying coupons to my scripts to make them affordable. I got a new insurance September 1 and let the pharmacy know. I have been paying way more for my scripts (thought my new insurance wasn’t as good) with their coupons than if they used my insurance. Really upset. Went to get scripts after giving them my insurance card and they were $1 as opposed to way more. This is medical malpractice. Idk if it has anything to do with them getting cash upfront this way as opposed to filing and waiting for insurance to pay… ——— Tried to get the pharmacy on the phone for 3 days at different hours and it goes to their voicemail box that says it is full and to call back and try again. MY DOCTOR ALSO COULD NOT GET THROUGH TO THE PHARMACY FOR DAYS. Wasted an entire week of getting and taking medication. Abhorrent for health professionals. I was told they were out of the medication, did not plan to get any in, and that "they don't call people or let them know if they don't have a prescription. The pharmacist told me that they are 10-15 years behind in technology and to go to CVS if I want technology that can alert a patient if their medication is delayed or not able to be filled. I didn't realize a phone was a new technology within the last 10-15 years that Safeway does not have access to?"

"While visiting the Jamba next door this Safeway employee named MARTIN walked in and harassed the young ladies working there. He did not purchase anything however demanded a cup of water the man began yelling at the young girls working asking about their coworkers and commenting on their skin color and asking what their opinions were of him. Once they asked him to leave the store he continued yelling and cursing at them. I went over to Safeway right after and informed the manager on duty. I was told they would try to speak to someone in a higher position that might be able to help. But she did not seem to be bothered by it and mentioned he behaves the same way at work. It is completely unacceptable that Safeway continues to let this creepy man work around women, minors, and near a middle school down the street. Felt completely in danger around him."
