"We love swimming at the Rec Center but we have a request as well. Today, we drove to dickinson to find out the rec center doesn't open until 12... that was our bad, we should've looked before we left home. Anyways, turned around drove home and then went back (we live 21 miles from dickinson), and then we all get inside and the one thing the adults wanted to do, the hot tub, is out of order. Please, put this on the door or let people know as they check in to swim or we wouldn't have gotten in our swimsuits and paid for nothing. Aside from that, love the facility!"

"Great place to get a workout in when visiting Dickinson. It was $8 for an adult day pass, which is reasonable considering the enormity of the facility. They have Matrix cardio and weight equipment that is pretty new and decently maintained. The facility is clean and also well maintained. The features that I saw were 5 basketball courts, multiple indoor tennis courts and racketball courts, free weights, weight machines, multiple cardio equipment areas with stair climbers, treadmills, ellipticals, rowers, and exercise bikes. There was a family pool with water slides and a lap pool that is 13ft deep. Overall, it is an impressive facility for the Dickinson community."

"If I could rate this lower I would. Staff checked us in for a day pass, I'd researched hours prior to coming but was surprised that nothing for kids opened until noon as according to the website and person who checked us in it opened at 5am...it was 9am when we checked in, asked questions and wow...it went downhill from there....hours weren't posted and the restrooms were horrendous. The only positive was a nice outdoor pool facility. Other than that, we were constantly told wrong information, were treated rudely, the kids couldn't play in the kid zone even when we tried twice to go AND to top it all off I was misinformed no less than 11 different times.....very difficult and will not be returning."

"Visit here every morning, sometimes twice a day. 4 stairsteppers and tons of other cardio equipment. Huge complex with many different types of workout classes with skill, enthusiastic trainers. Indoor pool, watersides, and a lazy river. 2 saunas, walking track, basketball courts, rock climbing wall and tennis courts too. This place has something for everyone, any age. Busiest time to visit is 5-7. Some hard to get weight lifting equipment during that time. The staff is always friendly. Used to pay $80ish dollars for a membership at Anytime Fitness and got out of that contract the first minute I could. It's great for a town to have such a complex."

"My Visit was on 8/6/22. Nice facility with horrible/irresponsible staff... Indoor pool is pretty much created for the elderly. Kids can't use anything there, no diving toys, pool noodles, kickboards. Nothing! You can't even lift your child above the water - against their policies, that are not written anywhere. My daughter was picked on by a lifeguard non stop. she was the only child at the pool. And she ended up with terrible experience.. older people can use the weights to float in the lazy river but kids can't use anything. 2 lifeguards were on duty and sat all the time by the door between 2 pools, never bothered to get up and and sit do their job. i was in lap pool and no one was watching the swimmers. Lifeguards said it is too much work to deal with tubes and stuff. Never turned on the water from kiddy slide either. No wonder their indoor pool is empty compared to other facilities. Tennis court had lights off, and the front desk said they forgot to turn them on. Really? The person who does supervised climbing never showed up at 1pm and we got not explanation why. They just offered us to wait till 2pm - maybe the next one shows up"
