"Both this and the Denver branch have had such poor communication over the process of shipping and delivery. When I made the order for over 3000 pounds of LVP I specified I was ordering it for our dance studio, (which was a business not a residence) and I needed it delivered inside. They did not tell me at the time they were different options of delivery. They just said that would be fine and no problem. The original delivery was supposed to be for yesterday 2/29 between 11 AM and 2 PM and I had to keep calling to follow up about why it had not arrived yet only to be told it wasn’t actually in the system. This was after I had to take the afternoon off for work to be present for the delivery. This morning I arrived for the Reschedule of the delivery only to be told the driver would not be allowed to go inside to deliver the flooring. His forklift couldn’t even get it onto the sidewalk and now I am stranded with 3000 pounds of flooring in our parking spaces. This all could have been avoided if it was explained, at the beginning, what the different options were and that some deliveries would not allow the product to be brought inside. And now they are not getting back to me about my request for refunding the $250 delivery cost. Thank you Floor and Decor Top Notch Service"

"There is a compelling explanation behind the F rating and 1.1 review score on BBB for this establishment. My contractor bought some relatively expensive(and newly introduced) tiles from here, only to find that they promptly started cracking during the cutting process. The contractor suggested returning them, and I accompanied him on my first visit to this store. While I acknowledge my error in assuming they would refund damaged (and/or inferior) products, the manager (or so he claimed), Theodore, exhibited an extraordinary attitude. He proceeded to demonstrate how to cut a tile and questioned why anyone would want to return such seemingly inexpensive tiles (although the three tiles cost $240, which may not be exorbitant, I wasn't aware that Floor and Décor had managers who considered $80 per tile to be cheap). Eventually, I allowed him to keep the damaged tiles and proceeded to select new ones from a different brand with which the contractor had prior experience. Despite asking two associates and personally requesting assistance from the cashier to help load the tiles (they have signs that say customers ought to ask associates for help, but nothing to indicate that this rule only applied to white customers), none of them responded. Frustrated, I began live streaming the entire episode, capturing footage of associates chatting amongst themselves and selectively assisting white customers while ignoring my contractor (and I was almost invisible to them anyway). Only when the manager noticed the recording did he step in to help. If there were alternative sources for matching tiles, I would have considered them, but having already spent thousands on matching tiles, my options were limited. I must acknowledge that the associate (who initially ignored us) significantly changed his demeanor , almost appearing human, once he realized I was live streaming. We had already made multiple trips to the store to get familiar with their entire stock and finally made the decision to meet with a designer... best decision ever!!! We worked with Macy Smart and we cannot recommend her enough. She was so personable, patient, and listened to all our crazy ideas.
