"This is for doctor Assini. I found out that I needed hip replacement surgery. So I went in to see him about my hip pain. So I made an appointment with him and seen his assistant and he told me that I am going to need to get the hip surgery. So I prepared. The was sending information on what to do and what I would need and what he would do during the surgery. He was really good on keeping me updated. Not only during the surgery but after and letting what I needed to do and watching out for blood clots. He did an amazing job..my recovery. Was not easy with PT. I basically got to work not much after a month. That's the quickest recovery that I have ever had. If you need a good surgeon go to doctor Joseph Assini. You will not regret it at Ortho One at swedish all the staff is great. Thank you doctor Assini. I an so greatfull for you and your staff. God bless you and your family."

"I just cannot express my gratitude and admiration for Dr. Assini's team and the whole staff at Swedish Medical Center. I went in to get a whole knee replacement but they ended up finding pus and slime on the inside of the bone when removing hardware from a previous surgery. I am so thankful that Dr. Assini made the responsible decision and aborted performing the replacement in case there is an infection. I suffer from from general anxiety and occasionally have severe panic attacks. Upon learning that they could not perform the surgery and that it would take up to a couple of weeks for the lab to process and culture the samples, I had the most extreme panic attack I have ever had. The staff was very understanding, compassionate, and patient and with me when I was in this manic, neurotic mental state due to my anxiety. They were kind and comforting, and always took care of all my needs. I want to give special shout-outs to Doctor Assini, Diana, Corey (who always answered my calls which were usually at night), Janeane (who was constantly there for me all night since I could not sleep), Shannon, Lucas, Kendall, Sarah, Jenna, Jessa, Adrienne, and every one who worked the ninth floor during my stay I might have forgotten. They truly helped ease my anxiety when I needed it most. Thanks everyone, y'all were fantastic."
