"I could go on and on about this but in short, Catherine completely traumatized me and almost 8 years later I’m still hesitant to go to therapy. She hurt me so badly and damaged every bit of my self esteem. She made me feel out of control over my own life and thoughts. She refused to hear me and hear the way I was hurting and why things were the way that they were. I was a sick child and she continually made me feel like there was something wrong with me and everytime made lists of every bad thing I had done that week. I was having seizures and the medicines were messing with my brain and she literally would continually talk about ways I could be punished so I wouldn’t act the way I was. I get quite sick to my stomach just thinking about how awful it was and how much I’m still hurt by it today. I’ve always wanted to confront her and tell her how much she hurt me but I guess this is the best way."
