Dia went above and beyond to be there for my daughter's home birth as well as guided me through another pregnancy after that. She has a quality about her that is nurturing and comes from her years of experience in the field. I'll always remember Dia's smile when my daughter was delivered (it helps that my sister caught it on camera) . The smile signified that she has a deep rooted sense of pride in what she does and that she was genuinely excited to be a part of the birth."

"Dia is compassionate and confident in her skills. We had a beautiful homebirth exactly how I hoped it would be! She welcomed me around 30 weeks into my pregnancy. We felt a good connection right away and we knew after the first visit that we wanted to do a homebirth with her. She listened to all of our questions, prepared us for the process of homebirth and educated us on the various things we should expect. What I liked most was that she was open to my desire to continue care with my hospital midwives so that I could have ultrasounds and NSTs covered by my insurance. I was slightly nervous about having a homebirth even though it’s what I wanted deep down, and her willingness to work alongside the other midwives for prenatal care made my experience really comforting. "I felt like I was in a scramble to prepare for my first birth and was nervous I hadn't prepared enough, despite reading a number of pregnancy books. I was introduced to Dia Ingalls and ended up taking a private Hypnobirthing course with her. Dia was absolutely wonderful to work with. She helped educate my husband and teach him how he could best support me during labor. And she provided us with breathing and meditation tips that were incredibly useful throughout the birthing process. I ended up working with her in a similar capacity for my 2nd pregnancy as well and it was so worthwhile. We met privately and focused on breath work and going inward and staying calm. We meditated together and I felt so relaxed and confident going into my 2nd birth armed with the skills that Dia had taught me. I would absolutely recommend working with Dia to pregnant mamas out there who want to feel calm and confident going into birth, but aren't sure how."
