"Came in for a routine eye exam and to get a new prescription to order contacts before year-end. Have only ever worn acuvue moist, but was pushed a newer type of acuvue. Prescription was written for this newer type. Come to find out when ordering these contacts they are considerably more expensive, so I’d prefer to stay with acuvue moist since they have worked for 10+ years for me. Called back to ask them to update the prescription to my preferred brand and they refused unless I came in person. Was traveling at the time for the holidays, and it was not possible to see them. Very frustrating. Ended up just using 1800 contacts virtual exam. $20 and they write you a prescription and give you multiple copies with different brands so you can choose your preferred contacts accordingly. What’s the fuss for this office to do similar and update my prescription for me? They’ve lost my future business."

"Dr. Alper is very kind, patient, and skilled. The optician Maddy has been a great help when I was struggling with contact lenses. She is so encouraging and patient. It took me multiple tries within a total of at least one hour but she never showed signs of impatience. Highly recommended place."
