Planned Parenthood - Boulder

"No matter what anybody on the planned Parenthood phone service tells you, this location does NOT offer fertility testing. Apparently there are system wide communication failures with planned Parenthood right now, so you cannot trust what the people on the phone tell you about the services each clinic offers...even when they're willing to have you come in at 8:20am on a Saturday. Planned Parenthood is at enough risk right now from those that want to shut it down. I hope they can put more care into the experiences of those who trust in and support them."

"I don't want to leave this review because I believed Planned Parenthood is generally a good cause, but my recent procedure was entirely too painful. I feel medically gaslit by words like "uncomfortable," "only a minute." That was not OK. I was frozen by the pain, couldn't think clearly enough to ask them to stop or follow their instructions. Awful experience."

"These people are thieves. They say they are here to "help" people but it is all a facade. I gave them my insurance and they told me it was covered. Only to receive a giant bill. They literally charged me $130 for using two surgical trays. Also I was charged $20 for an "emotional" assessment where they just asked me if my husband beat me and then moved on. Not to mention the enormous cost of everything else. Also my doctor asked me if I wanted an STI test. I said no since I had only had one partner for like 5 years but they essentially shamed me into it. I asked if it was at least covered by insurance and they went to check, came back and said "yes" but then I was billed over 300 for that stupid test I didn't even want."

"I unfortunately cannot recommend this Planned Parenthood. I have been on bc for 10+ years and I was prescribed a new one per their doctor’s recommendation, which was fine. After my year was up, they put me on a slightly different prescription and my pharmacy let me know to contact them to say it was different than what I was on for the past year. I called and they said it’s the exact same and that the pharmacy was wrong, so I decided to trust the person I spoke with and took the pills. I experienced worse symptoms on my period and called back. They said the same thing but told me they would have a doctor call me to ease my worry. That doctor never called, so I went to my GP who confirmed it WAS a different prescription, it had an extra four days of hormones compared to what I was on before. I gave two stars because I support Planned Parenthood as a whole but was incredibly disappointed with the care I received. I will not be returning."

"I honestly wish I could give more stars. Yesterday I was seen by two lovely female physicians and had the best experience. I have never received such patience and kindness in a doctors office. They were extremely thorough, asked a lot of questions about my current lifestyle & about things I had experienced in the past. It was truly thoughtful, I felt cared for as if my appointment was the only important thing at that moment. I am new to the area and was nervous about going into a new doctors office. I’m grateful that this location exists. They have done a tremendous job making sure there is quality staff on board & I will be back for all of my health needs going forward."
