Fisher Investments

"Please folks, due your research. I gave my life savings to Fisher based on what my brother had said. He thought they were a good firm, that was short lived. What happened is he invested in them when the market could do no wrong, back in the Trump era. Now that reality sunk in, he found out what a terrible company they are. To my story. Again I gave Fisher my life savings based on the above story. What happened is that I interviewed Fisher before handing over our money and was impressed with the talk. They knew I was retiring in a month and did not want to take on much risk. They assured me they would invest my money based on that request. To my surprise, as soon as I gave them our money, they dumped it in 87 or more stocks all at once. First of all, I told them not to do that, and when I called them immediately they told me that they thought it was the correct investment for me. I was shocked and let them know that I was very concerned about the move. They assured me that they have been doing this forever and would not take a risk if it wasn't a good one. To let you know, one of the reasons I wanted very low risk, was because I knew the market was at an all time high and didn't feel good about it. Within one month I was down 10s of thousands of dollars, and as I kept calling them with my anger, they stuck with there terrible investment strategy. After about 9 months I was down 500,000 dollars, and they still did nothing to protect my assets. I eventually took all my money out after it had come back up some. I have been able to recover most of it doing my own investments. I tell all of you investors this, because they say they are a fiduciary company, and that's as far from the truth as you can get. Please go onto all the sites with reviews and comments about Fisher Investments, It will blow your mind how many people the have ruined there lives, with no regret. Ken Fisher is a crook, I would hate to see anymore people ruined by his company. They don't know how to pick stocks, they have no concern for you. Today I'm still getting rid of there terrible stocks they invested in. Just today I wrote off another 22,000 dollars of there stock that has been in the deep red since they bought it. Please again DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!! Look at the BBB results, go to review websites on them, spend hours looking up there terrible reviews and the damage they have cause there clients. Please!!!! Talk to a financial advisor to find out how easy it is to invest your own money, and have control over it. S&P 500, ETF, Mutual funds etc. All of which you can control yourself. Also Fisher charges unbelievably high fees. It was costing me about 17 thousand dollars a year to have them take all my money and lose it. Fortunately I got completely out in June 2023, but in that time it was like the worst nightmare you could possibly have. Thank you for reading this. And please, if there is a reply from Fisher , please disregard them of what they say, because it's all lies!!!!"

"Good luck getting off their calling list once they get your contact information. Why would anyone go with an investment firm when you can just buy index funds or mutual funds. They rarely do better."

"I am very disappointed with this investment firm. They do not deliver any stellar results as promised. They charge large fees and unless you are one of their larger investments, you won't have any personalized treatment and they will move you to a junior investment advisor that is just learning. I recently had a transaction and they used 2 routing numbers instead of a routing number and an account number. I almost missed out on a $500,000 deal because Fisher is incompetent. This should be a sophisticated investment firm and they can't handle very basic transactions. Do not trust this investment firm."
