"My son has been eager to try a hip hop class after watching a dance show. I found Synergy and thought we could give them a try. When we got there they gave him a piece of paper to give to the teacher. They told me to sit in the main room with a tv so I could watch him. Mind you, he is 4, the youngest there, it was his first time and he was the only boy. He went into the classroom gave the teacher the paper and looked around for me. Realizing I wasn't there he ran out crying so I went to him and walked him back in. I sat in the room at the back to make sure not to disturb the class and hope he would feel comfortable . The teacher asked him a question to which he was too shy to answer so I spoke up for him, encouraging him to talk. The teacher left without a word and came back with a man. The man came over to me and said "we have a no parent policy" very rude. I told him my son wouldn't stay without me. At least for a little until he was comfortable. He said "well you have to leave you are disrupting the whole class". So we grabbed our things and left. He made me feel like I was doing something wrong. Not a good experience. They lost a customer for sure."

"Synergy is WONDERFUL! My daughters have been going here for years. First casually, just a class or two a week (which not all dance studios let you do, so I really appreciated that flexibility). Now one of them is on the competition team and taking many hours of class a week. Our experience has been nothing but good -- the teachers are outstanding; the owners are incredibly kind and attentive to each student; and even on the competition team, where they compete (and very often win), the spirit is that of collaboration and teamwork, not competition. I can't speak about Synergy highly enough!"
