"I have seen a lot of doctors in my lifetime because I’ve required speciality care since I was a child with having a wide array of rare diseases and congenital problems. I must say, of all the renowned facilities I have frequented in my life, it is so wonderful to experience what I consider top-notch care right at home. Particularly with Kirstin Howell who has been the most patient, understanding, well-versed doctor I have come across in my lifetime. What I like about her is her willingness to listen to what I have to say, and the fact that I know I am heard because the things I discuss are addressed. And a doctor believing their patient is such an unsung, undervalued trait. Why? Because a doctor who does not believe you, can not treat you. I have been struggling with a chronic illness that has been difficult to diagnose. I don’t know if I could have made the difficult journey without a doctor like Kirstin who honestly is priceless in a sea of doctors who cannot compare to the qualities she has to offer. One who has gone above and beyond to help me in every way she can. Gone the extra mile without praise. I can never thank her enough for pivotal role in my diagnoses and treatment of the the disease I now have."
