Dr. Whistler has a special interest in sports medicine and adolescent medicine. He believes in building strong relationships with his patients and their families to provide personalized care. Dr. Mike is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles and preventative care to ensure his patients grow up happy and healthy.
Outside of the office, Dr. Whistler enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time with his family in the beautiful Colorado outdoors. He is a proud parent of three children and is actively involved in his community.

"Great, high quality personalized pediatric care right here in Fruita."
"Would not recommend whatsoever, and that is not an exaggeration. The front office staff never answer the phone, aren't even present in the office building when we arrive for appointments (Grand Junction office). Dr. Liggett was not personable and was insensitive to my special needs son. She wanted to order blood tests for things that weren't pertinent to my concerns for my children. I'm an RN so I know how to advocate for my children, but she treated me like I was stupid. We changed pediatric offices and are much happier."
