Austin Bluffs Laundry

"TLDR: Highly recommend. I’m lucky enough to have a washer/dryer in unit. However, I had some bulky items I needed to clean and the staff was incredibly friendly, prices were great, WiFi worked and it was relatively quiet for a Thursday night. I also liked that you can pay with card as I don’t carry cash. I also enjoyed the sitting area, I’ve been to a lot of laundromats in the past where it was difficult to find seating so I appreciated that this laundromat had plenty of seating. Will be back for bulky items and will recommend to friends and family."

"Would rate 0 if possible Rudest staff ever decided to start multiple arguments with guests/customers and then proceeded to glare and hover while touching and moving my belonging without my consent overall not worth ur time or money with how dirty and unsanitary this laundromat is and the extremely rude staff and as I was leaving the “owner” decided to take mine and my partners photos for absolutely no reason definitely made us feel uncomfortable and we will NOT be returning"

"I’ve come here for years and never had an issue with the staff that worked here before . The older native lady that is the manager here has a problem with mother and children and maybe and shouldn’t work where mother and children will be. Please fix this issue I have been coming here for years and I will not have my son disrespected every time I come in and do laundry. She informed me that he couldn’t have a toy in the laundromat, so I asked where the sign was and she went on to tell me ( that this isn’t a playground and I need to be a better mother ) ."

"We used to go here weekly until we had a two really bad experiences. This is one of the better laundromats but there was an aggressive homeless man that sprinted at us as we loading our car at night. I think he assumed we had cash because we were leaving a laundromat. Scared us from going back for a few weeks because there's a lot of homeless folks around there at night. It's very clean and all the machines work well. Average prices. Nice waiting area with TV, wifi, and vending machine. Nice owner. Most of the staff is pleasant, except for one man, who will cuss you out if you accidentally walk on the floor he just mopped, even if it's dry. It was a complete accident and I apologized profusely but that only enraged him more. No one deserves that at the end of a long workday. He gets annoyed about things none of the other employees do. For example, he doesn't want you to keep your laundry basket next to you in the waiting area. No matter how friendly and compliant you are, he's incredibly angry and seems like he's on the verge of snapping. I was afraid to leave a review initially because that man's unnecessary anger scared me but I would want people to warn me, so here i am. I didn't tell the owner because it shook me up and I'm not looking to make anyone's life harder. Had that been my only experience there, I would be giving a 1 star warning because that guy was straight up unhinged and he seems to look for reasons to be mean to customers, BUT the other staff are all pleasant and helpful. The thing is, they also seem afraid of him, so don't go there if a man around 25-35 is working. My family and i had been going there for about 6 months. We spent an average of $60 a week for 8 jumbo loads. We now go to a laundromat that's a few blocks over. We don't feel comfortable returning to Austin Bluffs Laundry with that angry man there but we do recommend this place if you're not a single mom who can only go at night."
