"Choice is a special place and I really don't know what we'd do for schooling if they didn't exist. The school is hard to describe. It's chaotic in the best way (giving children flexibility to learn in whatever way best suits them) but also teaches them critical life skills like responsibility, honesty and accountability, kindness and empathy and working within a community. We're constantly blown away by the critical thinking skills our 9 year old displays and skills he's learning to navigate real life - not just the core educational subjects. And those core skills, like math and language are self paced so students can go slow and focus or zoom through lessons as need be. It is clear that the staff LOVES the kids and share the excitement at they learn and grow."

"We had been homeschooling two of our children for the past several years but they were ready for a change. "Update: We are still very happy with Choice! We have been there since the first year, it has been so inspiring to see the evolution of the school since that first year. Each Guide cares deeply about each Hero. Each year, there is so much improvement with helping the parents understand how to support their Hero. My Daughter is very supported in her specific goals that her and I have set up. We are so happy with our decision to send our Daughter to CHOICE. My daughter looks forward to going to school. "My girls have grown exponentially since coming to CHOICE a year ago. It's so noticeable that I've received comments from most of the adults in their lives about how much they've grown and matured in such a short period of time. In areas where they previously wanted to shirk away from "hard," they now embrace it. The perfectionism and fear of failure in our house has decreased significantly. Everyone seems to "fit in" and looking just right or being like the other kids doesn't seem to even cross their minds. I recently had a neighbor tell me she's noticed my girls both embrace their individuality and don't feel a need to be like the group.
