"Frustration and disappointment all around. We found a perfect remnant to do two short steps on a renovation that just went south once the installer got here. He insisted that we have a transition which we argued about since we don’t have transitions everywhere next to this floor, but wound up doing it so he would install the carpet. No one came to assess the situation first which would’ve made a difference. The installer Charlie badmouthed the woman we worked with at the office, boasts about his 55 years of doing this, complained about not getting paid enough for the job, he wound up coming out a total of four times because he had to redo one stair because the carpet had so many pulls and holes in it, once because the carpet did not come flush to the transition he insisted we have, and was leaving a terrible dip. After 4 visits to do 2 steps we now have what you see in the photos. The new carpet on the second step has two holes in it and a very visible unsightly dip. We would never go with this company again."
