"This is one of the few bars that is open late in Golden so we had planned to bring some of our guests here for the after party to our wedding. About 7 months before our wedding, we reached out via facebook messenger to get an idea of whether it would be a good idea to have our after party at the bar. They said it should be fine and to remind them a couple of weeks beforehand so they could properly staff the bar. I did touch base with them a month before our wedding, and again, they assured us it would be fine to bring all of our guests. When we arrived at the bar for our after party, the bouncer had no idea who we were, and the bar was absolutely packed. This was a Saturday night, so I think they could have easily predicted that they'd be crowded that night and they could have told us that with our number of guests it might not be a good idea to bring everyone. It seemed like the bar did not do anything at all to prepare for the number of guests we'd be bringing and we had to scramble to find somewhere else to go with our guests."

"Dope vibe, yellow jacket on tap (obviously) and great staff. Hannah was great and music was awesome. Laid back patrons and cool dark lighting. Exactly what you’d want from a place called “Ace-Hi”. Recommend coming in for a cold one"

"We stopped by here for an afternoon drink while we were exploring Golden and we are glad we did. Great bartender, fat pours, awesome little dive bar ambiance, diverse crowd, and located right downtown. We each had a beer and a cocktail and everything was perfect. We are going back to Golden soon and this will be on our list of places to re-visit for sure."

"An amazing spot on Washington Ave, which closes at 2am! Haven’t tried the food, but everything else is great. The bartender was friendly and the place is so cozy"
