"I went to my regular salon but had a new colorist and didn’t realize until I got home how awful it was. I typically get a copper red shade but there was no red to be found. It was an awful black tone. After weeks of heavy washing hoping to lighten it up I searched many salons that worked with curly hair, had good reviews and had an opening that worked with my schedule. I made an appt with Sandy Gore. I am so happy to have found her. She was so kind. She listened to what I was looking for and asked many questions to determine what I wanted. I felt totally comfortable with her and knew she would fix my hair. Curly hair is very difficult to cut. She obviously had lots of training bc my haircut was Perfect and my curls were super happy. She did color and highlighting and when finished it looked so Beautiful and natural. I would highly recommend Sandy and this salon. Such a Great atmosphere! Even though she is a distance from me I plan to continue to have her as my stylist. She truly cares about her clients"
"I had an appointment today for a curly cut with Sandy Gore and it was amazing! I have been leaving my hair curly for a little over a year now and have been struggling to find the right stylist. It was the first time in that year that I have left a salon loving my cut AND style. I have sensitive skin so products have been difficult to find, but she used all Innersense and was very aware of any possible issues with irritation. She also gave me the styling tips I have been searching for. Thank you Sandy!"
"Julia McBride is amazing! If I could give more stars I would! I took my daughter in for her first curly girl hair cut. I do not have naturally curly hair so did not realize a stylist could specialize in cutting curly hair until a friend recommended Julia. Julia was so kind and patient while speaking with my daughter and explaining how to work with her natural wavy/curly hair. For the first time, my daughter is excited to work with her waves now that she Julia has explain how to style and proper products to use. Velvet Rifle salon is also a beautiful and clean space. We easily found parking in the small lot in back but there also seemed to be plenty of on street parking. Thank you Julia, I am so glad we found you!"
