"Welp I came here to get my hair layered, I asked for layers and split ends cut. When I arrived I had hair down to my butt. She said my highest layer point will probably be 6 inches up (not a big deal right I mean it's the highest layer) well that was very much not the case . When she said she was going to start on my layers I was like okay then she pulled out a pair of clippers and started chopping away . Now anyone that knows how to layer hair knows that's absolutely a terrible way to layer . Then she takes me to wash my hair and whatever brings me back to "do my deadends" now I have no idea what this lady was doing that whole tome but it sure wasn't doing any dead ends or layering my hair. When I left I was trying to convince myself it was okay whatever its just hair. Which is why I haven't made a review . But honestly I'm pissed . My hair was long down to my butt, I could put it in a bun , I could put it over my shoulders... now I can't put it in a bun and barely can do it over my shoulders . She chopped my hair so high any real professional with talent would have NEVER made this bad of a mistake.. Now everytime I get out of the shower because of these "layers" my head looks like a damn mushroom . So I've ended up just putting my hair in braids or a pony tail and I will be stuck with that until it can grow out again and I can go to someone who actually knows how to cut hair and listens to their clients not someone who will lie about what they will do then just go with their vision . I made it very clear I didn't want my hair short . I even showed length references. Oh and to top it off I already had bangs . I just asked her to shorten them a tiny bit... this woman added more hair to the bangs which was ALOT of hair like I'm talking hair way too far back to be apart of my bang length. So long story short don't get your hair done here . And if you do make an appointment for someone to fix the disaster afterwards."

"We came in to Lox yesterday so my son and husband could get a haircut since we live out of town. Melina did pretty good on my son’s haircut but she completely butchered my husband’s hair. She didn’t do anything that he asked her to do and she pretty much gave him a buzz cut. Then when she asked him a question about his hair he told her it was too short to do that and she told him that’s what he wanted and he said no. I could have done that myself for him. Do not go to Melina the rest of the ladies there are awesome."
