Mamitas Mexican Restaurant

"I recently visited Mamitas for the second time, the first being two years ago. On my initial visit, I found the food to be passable, but the service left much to be desired. Hoping for an improved experience, I chose Mamitas for my birthday dinner this year and invited a couple of friends along. Starting with the food, I opted for a burrito. While it was decent, I must admit I've tasted better elsewhere. The accompanying sauce for the chips was disappointingly watery, and the queso was just average – neither impressing nor disappointing. However, the most significant issue I encountered during this visit was the service. Despite it being a special occasion, the service was lacking and fell short of my expectations. It's disheartening to feel let down, especially when celebrating a personal milestone like a birthday. In conclusion, while Mamitas Mexican Restaurant offers an acceptable dining experience in terms of food, the service still needs improvement. I had hoped for a better overall experience, especially given it was a celebratory occasion, but unfortunately, I left feeling somewhat disappointed"

"Everything was so amazing! Javier was awesome! The food was delicious, I had the steak burrito loco and it was honestly one of the best burritos I’ve ever had!"

"Great service and atmosphere! I always try out nachos and micheladas, and today was no exception. The price was fair for the serving, and the nachos were really good, but not the best I've had and not the cheapest. The serving of cheese was great they had plenty of it, but the beans,meat, and other condiments were a little short. When it comes to the Micheladas, they lacked flavor, being from East Los Angeles, I'm used to "dirty" micheladas with a lot of chamoy spice and flavor. Finally, the chips and salsa were really good. You can tell the salsa is freshly made in-house chips are also fresh. Overall, I recommend giving them a try and experience the great customer service the big screen t.vs and clean restaurant."

"Large lunch portion for $9.99. Also the large order of guacamole was pretty huge. Good food, decent atmosphere and friendly service. I had a chicken and a pork enchilada. The pork was delicious but I wasn't a fan of the seasoning used in the chicken. Our biggest complaint was the refried beans were a little on the soupy side. Other than that it was a great lunch for a reasonable price."
