"During the Superstars Writing Seminar, we made a new friend from Australia who had never really experienced "American" cuisine. So we decided to take her in search of several flavors available to us in Colorado Springs. We ate there one night, and sampled several things. Her biggest surprise was the catfish. Damned good and went well with the jalapeno cornbread. Then we found out about the low country boil they did on Saturday, and oh my, was it freaking good. Nearly as good as my own boil, but I'm a fire eater, and like mine a wee bit more spicy than most folks. Otherwise, damned good vittles. Chef was freaking awesome, and the band playing Saturday evening just made the whole vibe perfect for our Australian friend."

"SO MUCH FUN!! We had a great time celebrating our 8th anniversary. They were having a party for Mardi gras and an outstanding value for an unlimited seafood boil. Being from Louisiana, I can honestly say the seafood boil was on point. They had a great band playing some good New Orleans sounds. Our fantastic waitress was on time with strawberry daiquiris and explained everything to us as we had our questions. I now have a regular place for Cajun food. Grateful for manager Ashley assuring we had the best experience. This was an amazing night!"

"The people who left reviews and said it tasted like Cajun food must have not actually ever eaten Cajun food. I never leave bad reviews anywhere but étouffée and gumbo are supposed to be served over rice. I would also suggest getting a good sausage. I lived in southwest Louisiana for 28 years and I am so sorry but this just wasn’t it at all. The red beans and rice was edible and actually pretty good. That’s the only thing that was decent. If you want Cajun food try some place else."

"I had the crab cake - it was tiny but very flavorful. I originally ordered Cajun fries, but they were too spicy for me so they switched them for plain French fries. I was with a group of 6 friends, the service was attentive and helpful."
