Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"27 Mar 24 had a late lunch with my husband at one of my favorite places to eat in town. I got the hand breaded Chicken strips with hash brown casserole & carrots and my husband got Momma’s Pancake breakfast. The place was packed and they only had 7 servers but we did not have to wait forever for our meals."

"We had chicken fried steak, chicken fried porkchops, and the meatloaf and a side of mashed potatoes. The pork chops were a little chewy & dry. The chicken fried steak was excellent, and the mashed potatoes were excellent. A was the country gravy. Of course decor was great as was the gift shop. Service was attentive and not annoying. Pleaant experience all around. Almost, the men restroom was a wet mess, wet towels everywhere, water on the floor by the toilets."

"I am so disappointed! I spent $70 on to go… get home… and was missing my kids meal and my entire order of biscuits and gravy. The kicker…. The “quality check” at the bottom of my receipt shows zero gravy in bag. How when I ordered biscuits and gravy? Then, I call back up to Cracker Barrel and let them know that I had missing items including a kids meal and my child was very hungry. Their response, “ok, if you want to come back I can have it ready for you in 15-20 mins”. Like seriously???? No apologies, more like I was a bother to them” . By the time I actually got back home to eat, everything was cold and I mean everything. The loaded fries were soggy by then and it was a complete fail! Very very disappointed. My work was contemplating having you guys cater for our Spring Festival, but now we are exploring other options. Definitely did not seem to care about the customers one bit It also says a lot when the company comments on the “good ratings” just a day ago, yet nothing on this one. Not the Cracker Barrel I remember as a kid!"

"I've loved cracker barrel. They definitely nail their breakfast. I come here every now and then, and I'm always satisfied with my experience. Cracker Barrel is just about your American sit-down restaurant, with a gift shop in the front. As you make your way down, you'll go into more of the restaurant area. The atmosphere is very nice and it improved my experience. My waiter was very friendly and made some jokes as well, the service was also very fast. when we ordered our food, it was ready in about 10 minutes. The food itself was amazing, I ordered "mommas pancakes breakfast," which came with 3 butter milk pancakes and a side of bacon and eggs. I noticed the quality of the food was great, the pancakes were definitely above your average pancake, the bacon was crisp, and the eggs were just the way I ordered. I also recommend getting their jam and syrup. It's their signature, and it tastes great! Overall, I recommend coming to Cracker Barrel for a great experience"
