"For the people who don’t feel like reading the full review, here is the synopsis: top tier handmade Mexican food served by high quality staff in an excellent environment! I went here today with my family and my in-laws 7 of us all together. We have it a try as we live next door and thought why not. It was by far the best choice we have made in a long time! All, and I do mean all the food we got was extraordinary! We started off the meal with the chips and queso which was wonderfully done. Yes, even the shops were great! For the main dish we got pretty much one of every taco. The thought and care that Jim and the chef have put into the menu really shows. The ingredients all compliment each other and it created such an enjoyable bite time and time again. No one flavor overpowering the other all working together to excite. My favorite by far was the Al pastor! Recommend it 100%. I doubt that there is anything less than perfect in the menu as even the kids quesadilla was delicious! My three picky eaters made quick work of them and were on to the street corn, rice and beans. None of this would have been possible though without the amazing staff from the wait staff up to the owner all were very happy and passionate about the work that they are doing at this location. There’s no doubt in my mind that this will be a west Arvada staple for years to come!"
"There was ZERO indication (growing/operational pains) this restaurant was brand spanking new. The food and service were amazing. My husband and I did the chips and salsa starter, excellent flavors. We split the steak fajitas which were the best I’ve ever had, down to the rice and beans. We tried several margaritas; a black diamond, the coin, and a spicy margarita. Normally with margs I am one and done because the mixer is too much sugar. These? Handmade down to the garnish and taste perfectly sweet and fresh. The waitstaff are all clearly well trained and efficient. The restaurant is immaculate and drew a good crowd for Saturday dinner service. Hopefully they are here to stay, great addition to the neighborhood."
