Bob's Atomic Burgers

"One of the best Burgers spots in Colorado. They use very high quality ingredients and care about their final product. My go-to is the green chili cheeseburger with American cheese on a wheat bun. Extra toppings can get pricy but the base hamburger includes a variety of free toppings."

"Bob's Atomic Burgers in Golden, Colorado, is one of my favorite burger places. I love how it differs from other restaurants. Here, you line up, get your burger sleeve, and choose your order: toppings, type of bread (including a gluten-free option). Then, you bring it to the cashier, pay, and they assign you a famous person's name as your order name, which sets this place apart from others. It's always packed, and parking in the front is limited, so head around back for free parking. The food is amazing; I especially love the grilled chicken sandwich. Overall, Bob's Atomic Burgers offers a unique experience with delicious food that keeps me coming back."

"I recommend this place. One of the best hamburgers I have ever had. Everything was cooked to order and perfect. Atmosphere is really laid back and just come as you are. Lots of cool stuff to look at. Everybody there is cool and laid back. All food is cooked to order so don't be in a hurry but definitely well worth the Wait and I should have got two hamburgers instead of one. Definitely a burger joint to put down on my list of one of my favorite places to go eat at."

"This little hole-in-the-wall joint is a welcome, hearty break every time we’re in Golden after a hike or snowshoe. The burgers are substantial, solid burgers and the sweet potato fries, in my opinion, win out over the regular fries but both are good. It’s fun to write your order on the sandwich sleeves and the staff is always very kind. Seating is extremely limited so you may have to wait/elbow someone to get a spot as it opens up but it’s a good, basic burger stop on the way out of the mountains."

"Finally got to try the place that won best burger from Fox News' burger bracket voted on by the people. Walking in I loved the mural on the outside and the overall atmosphere and vibe. You customize the burger or sandwich or hotdog you want by filling out a bag (like at a witch which ) and then go to the counter to order. Instead of a number or your name you are given a celebrity name that will be called when your order is ready. Very fun. The burger was nice a juicy, not too greasy. Was it the best burger I have ever had? No, but it was a good burger and hit the spot. Definitely worth a visit if you are going to Golden anyway or if you are a student at mines or work at Coors. If your touring the brewery this is a great place to get lunch!"
