Walmart Pharmacy

"Lost my doctors faxed in..and confirmed that it went thru, i had the doc check. Then was ruds as could be. Even tho i explained we were heading out of state and needed it they showed zero interest in taking the 2 minutes it would take them to correct their mistake and dump some pills into a bottle for me. Insyead they were more concerned with not being late for their lunch break which started in a few minutes. Had script sent to safeway and was a muuuuccchhh nicer experience..and it was cheaper"

"1st time dealing with them while sick with Covid. They cannot give accurate information on prescription orders, takes forever for someone to pick up the phone, then waited 3 hours for them to fax a prescription to a pharmacy that actually has what I need. Ugh. Poor customer care."

"The doctor called in the RX late as most doctors do nowadays, the pharmacy typically gets blame undeservedly. That said, this pharmacy didn’t have the drug in stock but went out of their way to call several pharmacies until the drug was located. They were patient with me even after I lost my patience. They maintained a high level of customer service and professionalism. Wish more people would conduct themselves this manner!"

"My experience with this pharmacy was absolutely fantastic. I moved recently, but I filled with this pharmacy for like 6-8 months, and it was such a refreshing experience after monthly struggles with the Safeway pharmacy. Not once did I run into any major issues with Walmart; every single month they had my prescriptions filled when I needed them, I never waited in line longer than like 3-4 minutes, and the pharmacy staff was always kind, efficient, and competent. This was a drastic change from my experience with their major competitor in Elizabeth. I filled with Safeway for over two years, and I am not exaggerating when I say that they made at least one major mistake that impacted my ability to have the meds I need refilled on time, EVERY SINGLE MONTH. Every month like clockwork. They would leave my doctor’s call in their voicemail machine for over 24 hours, they would fail to answer phone calls for entire days, they would simply forget to refill certain medications, stock issues, extremely rude employees, I could go on forever. They are terribly incompetent, and I ran into exactly zero of these issues with Walmart. If your life or your ability to function depend on medications, filling at Safeway rather than Walmart is an extremely unsafe choice. Save yourself the headache, save yourself the likely possibility of a dangerous situation when your medication inevitably isn’t filled properly and/or on time, and fill your prescriptions with Walmart rather than Safeway. It legitimately is a safety issue, and after two years, it became clear that Safeway didn’t care or didn’t have the resources for it not to be."
