King Soopers Pharmacy 8673 South Quebec Street, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126

"I have been trying to maintain some level of professionalism and patience with this HORRIBLE (at best) pharmacy. They often have long lines of people trying to pick up medications and once it's your turn, you're treated like a dog. They are rude and unprofessional. Whenever I call into this place, they pick up the phone and either slam it down and hang up on me or place people on a forever hold and never come back to the phone. I had my inhaler and another medication at this pharmacy. I stopped after work only to find two employees literally dancing around behind the counter; doing leg kicks and when I told them I was there to pick up my refills, they claimed to only have one. After the woman poked around in the computer, she said, "Oh, it just came in. Here's the second one". My doctors office phone it into this pharmacy 3 hours previously! Thinking they could give me a little priority since they messed it up, they then told me 30-45 minutes. Meanwhile, I'm having a major coughing attack at the pharmacy counter wanting to get my inhaler and they wouldn't give it to me for 30-45 minutes! I told them I would come in later or another day and left. Within 5 minutes, they text me telling me it's ready! I know healthcare in general has gotten very bad but this place truly needs to be investigated. They make you feel like they are doing you a HUGE favor to assist you and get your medications. Go to Walgreens!"

"Victoria who is one of the pharmacists there was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to on the phone. She yelled at me that I didn’t make sense because I did not know the Aurora locations phone number. I did not appreciate her tone or attitude during this conversation. When I went to pick up the meds, she barely went over anything with me, was short and curt and didn’t even give me the chance to ask questions or tell her I was offended by her phone call, just walked away. When I have STREP I don’t need a cranky pharmacist giving me a terrible attitude."

"Service was 1000% better during the strike and before. Since the strike, customer service counter is closed more than it's open, rude employees and no way to even file an employee complaint. So wish there was a closer Safeway. Havnt been able to get lotto tix in months due to my shopping times always conflicting with customer service counter hours. I think I'll try the KS. At Holly St."

"I shop frequently here and recently switched to get prescriptions here and so far no issues and they’re always very quick. The pharmacist is incredibly kind and will still come and check regarding any questions each time."

"I have officially quit this pharmacy. I have not really had issues with the grocery side of things, but my pharmacy experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will no longer be shopping at this location at all. I had to transfer all of my prescriptions from a previous Safeway that shut down. Every time I came to the pharmacy at this location, there were several pharmacists standing in the back. They never say hello or acknowledge you. If there is not a clerk, they eventually come up and it is an inconvenience. The clerks are not always friendly and one actually made me feel low because I was there often for regular medications. Seriously. So I have quit and I have moved to another Safeway. It has been nothing but a nightmare getting this King Soopers to transfer my prescriptions. For a couple of them, the Safeway pharmacist was put on hold numerous times before she talked to anyone. My last prescription that I needed moved--the Safeway pharmacist was not only but on hold for a lengthy amount of time--the pharmacist came on and told her she was too busy to call another time. Wow! This solidifies why I am not there anymore! I now go to Safeway and I am welcomed by all pharmacists and clerks with hellos and smiles. It is a place I actually do not dread having to go and stand in line. I will also no longer be shopping at this King Soopers for groceries. I am done. I am just one family in a sea of families of customers. May not matter. However, if this pharmacy continues like this--I can foresee others walking away too."
