"Walmart charged me 10x the price as Costco's price for same and found out after GoodRX had a coupon that would save 85%. My fault for not shopping around, but so sick of anything health care related and companies-providers just trying to gouge their customers."

"For many years living here in the mountains, I have been going to Safeway's pharmacy in Idaho Springs because of it's location as being only 15-20 minutes from home. Two months ago, I'd phoned them, with the usual no answer to my call & drove the distance to hope they had the meds available for my prescriptions. That particular visit, they did have the meds, but the key to the narcotics safe had been 'misplased', (lost?!stolen,?!), & was told it had been missing for a day or so. THE NARCOTICS SAFE. Thinking that that seemed quite an important key to know its location, ALWAYS, along with really needing those meds as they'd be gone that next day, I got in the Jeep & drove the extra 20 miles to Walmart's pharmacy in Evergreen after phoning there, with an actual person answering, (& not even being put on hold at that!), to check if they had the meds I was in need of having filled. Handing the prescriptions to the pharmacist, I was asked if I might be in need of any vaccinations. I remember feeling stunned, as a deer in headlights might be, and answered, yes, yes I am. While waiting for the prescriptions to be filled, 20 minutes I was told, I'd received a vacc finally completing a total covid vacc series. YAY! After that initial visit, I'd decided to make this pharmacy my regular monthly pharmacy to fill my meds. I was put on auto fill at my request for my prescriptions & having dealt with the other pharm for so many years and nothing ever happening with auto fill going into action & thought nothing further of it until the prescriptions all started popping through as ready for pick up. I didn't realize how on-the-ball these folks were & had failed to mention, I leave town only once a month for this very reason, to get all of my blood pressure, bipolar, torn muscle, cracked bone & blah blah blah issues taken care of. My most sincere apologies to Walmart's pharmacy team! I've sinced ironed out my mistake & will be making the monthly trek there tomorrow, for everything. Everything in one swoop! Greeted professionally, kindly and with a smile each time. Thank You All So Very-Very Much for being an extremely rare entity on which I can truly rely in this lifetime. Thank You."

"My rx was ready for pick up I went to the pharmacy at 1:25. They didn't have me on file and asked if I had insurance. I said I didn't think I had my card with me but as I looked in my wallet I did have it. When I tried to had it to her the Pharmacist, Anna, said if I wanted to use my insurance card I would have to wait as they go to lunch at 1:30. I looked at my watch it was 1:27????? Then I asked if they could just photo copy my card in insert the information into my account after their lunch so the next time I came to Walmart the insurance info would be on file. Again Anna said no I would have to wait there until after their lunch. There was a person behind me that the pharmacy assistant told Anna "She was here before 1:30", and they helped her after I paid full price for my medication. So if I was there before her don't you think they should have taken the time to put my insurance information in an charge me the correct price. I guess Anna missed breakfast. I won't be returning....."

"It had been almost a year since my first Shingrix vaccine due to a nation wide manufacture issue, so I was far beyond the 2 -6 month recommended window. The woman there understood the situation, and without my asking, put me towards the top of the call list. I got a call a few days later, and went in that day. Most places either didn't have a call list at all or priority was given to those who had their first shot there rather than based on urgency. I can understand that too, but I'm very glad Walmart prioritized based on timing/need."

"The service from this Walgreens is horrific. I cannot believe how incredibly rude their pharmacist was. I arrived at 6:55 to pickup a prescription that they had called to say was ready. When we were checking out, they had the wrong price on it as a coupon code had not been applied. When my husband dropped of the prescription, he and the pharmacist on duty had applied the coupon code and discussed the payment option. This pharmacist told me that he lied (her words) and she wasn't going to do it until the next day even though I had the coupon code and name of the pharmacist he had worked with. She then went on to tell me I was being rude keeping her from her family when it was now 7pm. She proceeded to roll down the shade in the pharmacy and tell me to go down the hill to another store if I wanted better service. Rudest customer service that I have received ever. They should be ashamed of themselves for hiring someone like this."
