"Decent enough place to work out (except there’s always 2-5 cardio machines broken for weeks at a time), but kind of a steep monthly cost for those of us who don’t care to use the “social club” benefits/everything else it is outside of being a gym. The place has a “oooh, we’re fancy” vibe, but without actually being fancy at all. I’ve definitely experienced a few older, male members who seem to think that because they pay a lot to be at the gym, they are entitled to rudeness."

"This place is a horrible establishment if I could give it 0 stars I would. They have roaches and rats and so many things are under maintenance all the time. The front desk manager and club house manger are homophobic and discriminatory. HR is run by one woman who is incompetent and declines to do her job if it benefits her and her employers. She is negligent towards the issues in the clubs and is compliant is many cases that could be considered civil rights violations"

"Great club. Just don’t order the food here. I got the steak and cheese and there was more salt in it than meat. I’m not one to complain about food, I’ll eat almost anything but this was truly the worst meal I have ever been served in my life. Oh forgot to mention- there were hairs in it too."

"The Denver Athletic Club is the best place for relaxation and wellness in the front range. What started out as just the nicest gym in Denver to me when I was 25 really is a community for every stage of life now that I am 30. The DAC offers gorgeous facilities including a giant workout center, pool, hot tubs/ steam rooms / sauna, bowling alley, remote work spaces, and restaurants/pubs. That is not to mention the amazing events which feel relevant and build excitement in the club, or the world class workout classes offered by the best teachers around (Lois, Lizzy, and Molly to name a few!!) It is like having resort access within 10 minutes of my home - the staff is phenomenal and so welcoming it truly makes me feel included. Special thanks to Kathy in membership and Ra who makes everyone at the club feel so welcome - and to the amazing facilities team that makes it so clean and luxurious to be a member!! The history and connections are also amazing. All well worth the membership fees - and if you are under 30 you should definitely take advantage of the reduced rates while you can!!! Once you experience the DAC you will never go back to a chain gym."
