NEO New Early Orthodontics

"The office staff is great, however, Dr. Lisa has now left the practice. We were working with her exclusively and now we have no choice but to work with the other doctor, who is not my favorite. I have already been told we will need braces after months on the device. We have already paid in full and when asked if we could get a refund when Dr. Lisa left, we were told we could only get 1/3 of the money back so we would be out of thousands of dollars. If I had to do it all over again, I would not come here. We have started treatment elsewhere for our older son."

"NEO is the best! Dakota is always so friendly and greets me as soon as I walk in, and has never once had to ask for my name! She knew who I was upon my first visit! Brianna is very helpful and polite, and does an awesome job making sure I understand what she is doing, and keeping me comfortable and happy with my treatment plans. I love getting to come in and see her! Overall The entire team is amazing and so friendly and fun. Special shout out to Nichole and Aislynn for being my favorites. Thanks NEO!"

"Leona and the rest of the front office folk are fantastic! However, if you are seeing Dr. Lauson for your TMJ, I caution you to get a second opinion elsewhere. I was quoted thousands of dollars for a custom appliance and held off on treatment, as I felt uneasy when the Doctor couldn't confirm if I would need additional orthodontics after 7+ months of wearing the appliance every day. After getting a second opinion elsewhere, they confirmed that the TMJ was NOT caused by structural issues (as Dr. Lauson had concluded) and that his diagnostic methods weren't in line with the industry standard. After starting a much less invasive and less expensive treatment plan, I'm on the road to recovery. If you struggling with TMJ issues, I'd suggest finding a hospital or university affiliated expert instead."

"We visited NEO for a consult for my children as well as 2 follow up appointments. We reviewed a treatment plan and we pre-paid $5k (3 months treatment) which included the required deposit of $750 to have the orthodontics started. We had a 2nd consult done by another Dr office and were advised NOT to move forward with NEO (2nd Dr is out of network which is why we didn't go with them to begin with). When we notified NEO we were no longer moving forward we were served our "transfer out" forms and directed to pay an additional $380+ to close out our amount due. We got 2 consultations 2 appointments and 2 corrective mouthpieces. I'm not sure that constitutes any additional charges let alone no refund for services NOT rendered. We now office with the Dr we should have to begin with, I'm happy to pay full price (not covered by insurance) than to be with an office that operates like NEO. If 0 stars were an option I'd have selected it. Update 11/09/2022 I spoke with Nichole at NEO (office manager) she was very willing to understand our position on what happened while my children were being treated there. I've changed my rating based on our conversation and her ability to right what was wrong. I would impress that each treatment plan is specific to an individual. For us, the treatment options did not match our specific goals. That doesn't mean NEO cannot meet your needs."

"We love NEO! After 6 months of treatment for one of my children, we were so pleased with the progress that we decided to bring two more of our children on board. They all love coming to their NEO appointments because of the encouragement they receive and the welcoming atmosphere the employees create. My children are not treated as just a few more patients, but receive treatment uniquely according to their needs. We have been so pleased with our experience at NEO and highly recommend it!"
