"Facility was modern and beautiful and Dr. Barta and his staff were friendly, personable, and welcoming. However I would recommend getting a 2nd opinion for any procedures recommended to you. Extremely aggressive and unnecessary dental work costing over $6k (before insurance) was recommended to me during my first visit. I received a 2nd opinion from a highly regarded dentist in the Louisville area and after looking at the same x-rays, he was shocked at the recommendations made for invasive procedures such a root canal and crowns when my teeth do not have any new cavities, decay, nor symptoms at the moment. While I hope Dr. Barta's intention was for preventative care and not just a money grab, I personally prefer a more conservative approach when it comes to invasive/ painful/ extremely expensive procedures. I also don't appreciate the delivery of the "problems" I had when in reality there are none that need immediate attention."

"I had my new patient appointment at The Dentist recently. When I walked in, the receptionist welcomed me with enthusiasm. I have never felt so appreciated at a dental office. My noon appointment started right on time. The hygienist explained everything throughout the appointment so I always knew what to expect. The X-rays and cleaning went smoothly. Dr Barta was very personable and explained all of his recommendations and reasoning. He was very thorough in his exam and identified 2 fillings in need of replacement before they develop into problems. Overall I was very impressed with the office atmosphere, the modern technology and the comfort of my experience."

"This is a beautiful clinic with modern and updated technology. Great location with plenty of parking. I had my first exam and cleaning from Dr. Barta today and I was thoroughly impressed. I could immediately tell the level of customer service from my first call to schedule an appointment. Kayla was courteous, kind and worked with me and my crazy schedule. Cassie, the assistant, was also professional and gentle with the often uncomfortable X-rays. Dr. Barta has incredible bedside manner and explained everything thoroughly. It is clearly apparent he cares about providing great quality of care, education and services. That genuine approach shines through at every step of your visit. I was so impressed that I have scheduled my whole family’s appointments already."
