"To be honest with you it was the worst pain I'd ever experienced having teeth pulled. I understand the infection created most of the problems. But it felt like the teeth were being pried out of my mouth not pulled. I've had teeth pulled before while there was an infection in my mouth. But the pain on this one was just extreme. It makes me afraid to want to go back and have any other teeth pulled. The doctor was a good doctor don't get me wrong he did a good job. But for some reason the technique on this one was just extremely wrong that's what it seemed like to me. However I do recommend this dental service to any and all who need dental work done."

"WARNING!! Beware of Wheat Ridge Dental. WORST experience of of my life!!! Dentist Erik Westphal totally ignored my plea asking for him to be careful and considerate as I've experienced much trauma with dental health. Not only did Erik Westphal cut my tongue, he clipped the corner of my lip. He wasn't gentle at all. After tons of x-rays he, Erik Westphal, said I needed a crown ( which was almost 1 thousand dollars $1,000.00. He claimed that I must have bit my own tongue. He, Erik Westphal, then checked it and non-challantly said, "Yeah, I nicked it a bit". A bit??? The whole time I sat there, i was continously swallowing blood because my tongue kept bleeding. ( I have pictures) I went in Friday, Nov 10th, today is Nov 16th and I still cannot eat, swallow or talk properly without experiencing excruciating pain. I had to go see my PCP because I am now in more pain than I was prior to this visit. I thought I had an ear infection. He didn't even wait for the lidocaine to numb the place where he injected my mouth. He, Erik Westphal, irritated a nerve. I have called Tuesday and again Wednesday, Nov 14th and 15th asking for my x-rays and the receptionist has said that she would send them and as of today, Nov 16th I've received nothing. The receptionist even told me that I wasnt going to like what she was about to say. She said I needed to go back and re-do an x-ray of the place where they did the crown because it mysteriously got ruined and otherwise my insurance wouldn't pay. It makes me wonder on if I even needed a 1K crown????? I'm NEVER going there again! Erik Westphal and Wheat Ridge Dental is super shady!! I have so much anxiety now, It's not fair for people like Erik Westphal. They give other reputable dentists such a bad reputation. I called my insurance right away only to find out they had already filed the claim! LIARS! Erik Westphal is an inexperienced money hungry dentist That disregarded every concern I discussed with him. Do NOT refer this place to anyone. SHADY and irresponsible. I only put 1 star because it didn't let me go negative."

"I had a great first visit at Wheat Ridge dentists with Dr. Riuli. I left my last clinic because it was rare to have the dentist in house during cleanings and not only was Dr. Riuli there, but she did much of my care AND did my filling the same day! All in about an hour including comprehensive X-rays. I will definitely be continuing my care at Wheat Ridge Dentists!"

"I have lots of dental trauma and I'm not very excited to go to the dentist. I know that I'm not unique in that regard. Anyways, I needed to find a new dentist and that can feel like just rolling the dice. Fortunately, I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very understanding of my anxiety and I felt like those concerns were listened to and acted on. I had to have a root canal (of course) and the entire process was much more pleasant than expected. The crown was a perfect fit and overall the pain and discomfort were minimal, you know, for a root canal. I'll be going back for the rest of my dental needs!"
