"This was fine four years ago before Oakwood crammed in more homes without adding any new infrastructure and managing to neglect what was here in the process. They need to add shade, fix the toys, and the landscaping overall honestly, oh and most of the chairs will bite you in the arse because they are broken. Don't be over impressed with this, Google the new Wolf Ranch rec center being built by Norwood. This is just ok for this huge neighborhood, oh and you need a reservation to go. It will only get worse with all the new homes crammed in now thanks to Oakwoods great planning, investment, and development."
"This isn't exactly private. If you don't live in this HOA, you can pay $5/person Pros: - Water is luke warm and very lovely - great amenities like floaties for kids, nice enough bathrooms, and plenty of space to lounge - water slide is decently fun Cons: - water slide can only be used at certain times when a lifeguard is at the top. Seems silly, but I think it's to ensure kids shorter than 48" can't go down. - lifeguards selectively enforce rules. One day had no issues, and my hosts were confused why they didn't implement the 50-minute safety break. The next day a gal told me I couldn't let my toddler (with floaties) out of arm's reach. - As of this writing, most of the water features don't work: the concentric rings don't spray water; neither do the pillars with shower heads and dump buckets; and the water cannons are never on Other info: -My hosts said that during peak hours (beginning of summer), you have to make a reservation. Makes sense, though the pool was nearly empty the twice a went in August. Despite the cons, any kid will still have a great time. Just maybe bring your own water guns."
"Staff members are pretty lazy. Mostly kids that run it. If you're over 7 y/o you'll get the whistle for anything. Also, the splash activities do not work. For the fees the community pay, those things should always be operational. Staff stayed they're waiting on a part. I never seen an organization wait over a year for 1 part to get things working. Just lame."
"all the moms drink and save chairs for their 10+ kids who swim the whole time and don't need them. typical selfish behavior, from the rich and "FAKEMUCH" moms of banning. the pool never works, neither do sign-ups and schedules."
"Our kids love going here! We're fortunate to live in the neighborhood so we go often. Bring a snack and plenty of sunscreen."
