Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver International Airport 7001 North Yampa Street, Denver, CO 80249

"Everything near the "Denver" airport seems far away, especially Denver. Embassy Suites is about a 15 minute shuttle ride from the airport. This hotel is perfect for a stay during a layover or before an early morning flight. The rooms are excellent and the free breakfast is diverse and fresh. I appreciated the free drinks during happy hour, although you should skip the free wine in favor of beer or a cocktail. The restaurant is also pretty good. Shuttles run every 30 minutes and reservations are required for the trip to the airport."

"Great location. Clean and spacious rooms. My reason for 4 starts is the bedside lamp in the room, none of the outlets worked on it. So I had to unplug the clock to plug in my adaptor. The clock then proceeded to attack us with a horrible alarm at 3 in the morning, for which i had to remove the batteries to turn it off. We had a couple of burgers via room service as we got in late. The burgers weren't bad but the fries were undercooked and soggy. Overall a nice hotel in a great location."

"A decent enough hotel, although this particular embassy suites is showing it's age. Rooms and common areas are due for an update. Proximity to the airport is the key attraction here. The parking lot requires ticketed entry and exit and the staff told us just to insert our room key to get out, however, that did not work and there were delays getting out of the parking lot when we had to push the intercom button because no one was monitoring. We saw this happen to several people the morning we left."

"Don't leave stuff in your room! Had not checked out and my stuff was thrown away! I attended a meeting at this hotel. Was planning to check out at noon. Had left a notebook, pen and food in the room (so it wouldn't heat up in my car). Had not checked out and they just came in and threw away my stuff! They were not apologetic at all, basically told me that it was my fault because I hadn't left more stuff in the room (so it could be thrown away?) or put a do not disturb on the door. Just.. wow!!! The first person said she could try to get me some food to replace mine, but the food people were all in a meeting. She also said that someone else had checked me out. ?? I told her I would come back. When I came back, they basically told me it was my fault for leaving things in my room and too bad. Today I called lost and found and they told me that they had thrown away my notebook (with important notes in it) and again I got another lecture on how it was my fault for not putting do not disturb on the door. But the last two times there was no mention of another person checking me out.. just that they go into rooms before you check out, make a judgement call about what stuff you have in your room and throw it out. Be very careful if you go to this hotel! ************** I am editing this review in reply to Mark's comment below. It is not "misinformation" to note that I had left a notebook and food in the room. My notebook was in plain sight on the kitchen table. That is not "my side of the story" it is a fact. I don't understand why not one in the chain here said something like "we're sorry". Instead I am told that losing the notebook that I keep important information in is a "minor misfortune" and that I should "move about my day." Which is not easy to do when a hotel has thrown away your notebook, which includes my list of things I would be doing today."

"Nice physical facility and rooms. Parking lot needs some TLC and it’s a high property crime area per signs everywhere. Front desk staff are nice enough but not apologetic about the problems, which are: 1) unreliable shuttle service to airport. Supposed to run ever half hour but we waited over an hour. 100% sure we were in the right pickup spot. Finally took a shuttle of a neighboring hotel. We Ubered back to the airport the next morning because we felt we could not rely on the shuttle but that was over $40 with tip. 2) Our phones did not charge overnight because the lamp outlets are ridiculously loose. No connection. This is a BIG deal if you are relying on your phone alarm to catch a morning flight."
