"3.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall a good experience with the room. It was quite spacious. I had booked a king but hotel gave a double bed as they couldn’t give a reason for not accommodating. There is no breakfast available and the restaurant at site seemed to be closed during the stay. There is a small coffee counter in the lobby. At on site store is expensive with water costing $10 - just absurd. There is a whole foods next door - just go there and get water."
"A pretty nice super conveniently located hotel right next to the union station. Nice rooms with an exception of the super loud heater. I mean that thing is LOUD. Other than that our room was pretty quiet. The shower could have been a little nicer. Looks a little cheapish by today's standards. But overall a very nice stay, with an extra bonus of the view of the union station and the trains - a big deal for my kid."
"We had an wonderful three-night stay here at the Hotel Indigo in downtown Denver. Honestly, I was impressed based on other reviews and my own assumptions going into our stay here. This one thing was a life saver for me: WATER! They provide wonderful, glass-bottled drinking water. I'm surprised at how many hotels charge big $$ for bottled water or simply don't provide any at all. This hotel provides great drinking water for free, and if you're like me and need lots of water, there's a King Soopers grocery store to supplement your backup supply. Our one-bedroom suite had a great view of downtown and we had extra amenities like complimentary parking in the covered garage and complimentary coffee and breakfast at the little cafe by the front desk from 6am–11am (I highly recommend these add-ons for the convenience factor). The breakfast included pastries, pre-assembled breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and quiche that they warm up in an oven. They have an espresso machine where they can make lattes, americanos, cappuccinos, etc. We loved it! The parking does require ticket validation at the front desk, so don't forget to bring your ticket inside and get it validated before heading to your car. The shower is incredible – one detachable and adjustable showerhead and one waterfall head. The beds were okay – not uncomfortable, but not exceptionally comfortable either. I've read a lot of reviews of people complaining about the coffee machine in the room, but I highly preferred it over the traditional Keurig-like coffee machines since it makes strong-tasting coffee. Huge kudos to the assistant manager, Michael, who made our stay extra special. If it wasn't for his hospitality and for going above and beyond, our stay could have been very different. Thank you for being awesome. :)"
"Thought a lot before this review. Rooms were comfortable, shower was great and service was pretty good. I rated it only three stars for these reasons: Gym was small and so limited most of my team chose to not work out while there. No breakfast options. Connected restaurant closed at 10 and their food & drinks were way over priced. Coffee maker is an espresso machine (I prefer actual coffee) Pencil at desk was broken Alarm clock was way off in time and not easy to use"
"Stayed here for a week on business, one of the worst hotel experiences. They don't an actual coffee maker in the room, instead they had some espresso thing that was awful. When I went downstairs to the lobby for coffee one morning, the guy said they were out of coffee beans and offered me an espresso drink instead. So I got that. It was disgusting, undrinkable, I ended up throwing it away. Room fridge froze all my stuff (not slushy-froze, like solid-froze). No microwave in the room to reheat my food and didn't know there was even one downstairs until the end of my stay, so I ended up throwing stuff away. The breakfast place that was included with my upgraded room (that I paid extra for) was gross, couldn't just get normal food, everything was "fancy" and made it taste bad. Ex: I ordered just a side of eggs because I didn't like the other options, they gave me a fried egg patty COVERED with green onions, like a huge handful, I should've taken a photo. (My coworker and I were both staying there for a week and only used the vouchers two days, despite them being free, that's how bad it was.) Wi-Fi was spotty and cell reception was impossible. The room seemed clean but at the end of the stay I found a package of OTC medicine under the sink so clearly it wasn't super thorough. The only positive thing about the room or hotel was the shower was awesome, great water pressure and temp regulation. I was extremely disappointed with my entire stay and will absolutely never stay there again, and will rethink staying at other IHG hotels because of this. Save yourself some money and stay at the Holiday Inn or something instead."
