"Beautiful, relaxing, fun. Places to pull off and look at the views, or just a slow drive. There's another tunnel and the whole thing is amazing."

"Awesome road with great views and backcountry feeling just a few miles away from downtown Colorado Springs. One of the best tours we made in the region, highly recommended!"

"What a neat experience! If you have time to read up on the history of the Gold Camp Road tunnels before you visit I highly recommend it! It was really cool to see the old charcoal marks from the trains on the ceiling as well! By the time we got there it was dark out which paired amazingly with a scary podcast if you're into that sort of thing- it also made for far less traffic! However, regardless of the timing of your visit always take extreme precautions both with the tunnel and the roadways leading to it- use your lights, be aware of your surroundings, and take it easy on the blind curves! Many areas are only wide enough for one vehicle. The city lights on the drive back were breathtaking!"

"It was as spectacular as it could be. Loved the view even though it was hard to walk fast thru the tunnel due to thin air, high elevation plus some wind.."

"Very cool tunnel in the mountains. Wonderful views on the way to this location with plenty of pull offs to really soak in Colorado Springs and as far as the eye can see. Definitely a great place to visit if you're just in town for a few days. Kids have a lot of fun too while driving through the tunnel. Check this place out if you've never had the pleasure of doing so yet! You'll be glad you did."
