"We did not know anything about the museum before reaching there, we had no expectations. To out utter surprise it was an amazing exhibition hall, cum museum depicting the industrial history of littleton. Most importantly the two farms are part of this museum. We loved the experience of wandering around two farm houses ffrom 1860 and 1890. I would definitely recommend visiting this museum for educational program or a visit. There are plenty of parking, easy accessibility, and restrooms for everyone to enjoy this museum maintained by the littleton city council."

"An excellent destination for an enjoyable afternoon outing awaits you at this place. It caters well to both young families with children and seniors like ourselves. Initially, we had some reservations about visiting in January, as we were unsure if the outdoor farms would be closed for the winter season. However, to our delight, everything was bustling at the 1860 and 1890 farms, along with the blacksmith shop. We were graciously guided by several kind gentlemen who showcased their craftsmanship at the forge. The indoor history exhibits were remarkable, and we particularly relished the newer theater where we could watch informative videos about the museum and the history of Littleton."

"We love the Littleton Museum! Every time we go the experience is different with the fun and quaint farm as well as a gallery that hosts constantly rotating exhibits. A great place to bring our kids and a free resource for the community."

"I took my 2 kids and we had a blast. Its free, but they accept donations. They have piglets right now who are very cute. They also have an exhibition on mining in Colorado. 10/10 would definitely recommend."

"From someone who has lived and worked on a farm, and around multiple farms, this is not how to treat farm animals, they too like to have clean and fresh hay, and clean stalls/pins. Not only feed and hay, but they like to graze throughout the day too, I’m just not quite sure they’re actually getting the care they require. The staff there were nice, and polite, the information about Littleton was interesting too, and they had quite a bit. Overall though, if you’re wanting an authentic 19th century western vibe, check out an actual farm. Most farmers would be excited people took an interest, especially a chance to show the younger generation farming/ranching."
