"Really nice place if you're into frontier history. The staff are all awesome. The house and grounds are interesting and well kept. Would be more to do/ see in summer. Very reasonable price for a few hours of entertainment."

"This is a hidden Denver gem that a lot of people have never even heard about. Once upon a time the 4 Mile House was the last stop along the stage coach trail before you made it to Denver and this house is located 4 miles from the then downtown Denver. This is not the oldest structure in Denver, but it is the oldest remaining building from the original Denver settlement. Everything in the house and around the 12 acre property is era correct. Make sure to ask for the house tour. Lots of history to learn here and fun for all ages."

"Great place! Went here for the Bright Nights e wnt and it was awesome. The different lights and sculptures were amazing. If you are looking for something fun to do on a date or something fun to do with the kids at night this is the place to be! Would recommend this place a d will be visiting again in the future."

"Very good historical site and learning center. Nice lil museum and gift shop as well. Friendly and helpful staff. Visited recently during a Bright Lights exhibit, a fun time was had by everyone! Definitely a great place to visit, beautiful setting near the creek, bring a picnic if you like."

"I love the history of this place! They have a nice welcome center where you check in. There is a little gift shop, restrooms and a little history display. The grounds are nice to walk around. There are pigs, goats and horses as well as many picnic tables and buildings to check out. But the best part is the old house, Denver’s oldest. Taking a tour of the house and learning the history of it is fascinating. This is a great place to bring the family for several hours and learn about Denver’s history. Tour guides are lovely and well-informed."
