About the Business

Inspiration Point Park is a beautiful urban park located at 4901 Sheridan Boulevard in Denver, Colorado. This park is a popular tourist attraction, offering stunning views and recreational opportunities for visitors of all ages.
The park is open daily from 5:00am to 11:00pm, providing ample time for residents and tourists to enjoy the natural beauty and amenities it has to offer. Park restrooms are open from mid-April to temperatures drop below freezing, with portable toilets available at permitted athletic fields and picnic sites.
Visitors can report any issues or violations of park rules to the Denver Park Ranger Office by calling 311, and permits are required for gatherings larger than 25 people or for exclusive use of picnic sites and shelters. The park also offers athletic fields, which are open from mid-March to the first week of November.
Drinking fountains are activated in early May and decorative play fountains are turned on in late May, operating daily from 11:00am to 7:00pm. Annual flower displays are planted between mid-May and early June, adding a splash of color to the park.
The park is irrigated during overnight hours, and efforts are made to reduce the need for herbicides on broadleaf weeds. The outdoor pool season typically begins in June and lasts until August, with some pools opening earlier or closing later depending on maintenance and staffing.
Overall, Inspiration Point Park offers a peaceful and picturesque setting for visitors to relax, play, and enjoy the outdoors in the heart of Denver.

"Association not taking care of the point anymore! They shouldn't allow people to do air n b in our neighborhoods! We don't need unknown people in our area! This is a small community,we are not happy about this! Also, why don't certain streets have street lights,if it is a neighborhood watch? Come on people help us out! The lawn on the point has been taken over as a dog park,so guess what it looks like??? It use to be so beautiful for many many years! Not sure who is making these poor decisions? Let's make it right!!!"
"My friend took me to this park last Wednesday. Inspiration Point Park has a beautiful view! I never knew about this park until recently. I'll definitely be going back!"
"Fantastic spot for sunset. It does attract some iffy characters so I would make sure to hide any valuables in your car while you’re enjoying the views. I wish there was a little more to the park, because it really is just a few benches, the walkway to and the actual viewpoint. But glad I came here to snag some pics."
"Seems like the playground was newly constructed. It felt like a hidden, secret gem park that we happened to discover. Maybe two other families were there when we were there. There are two play areas. One is labeled to be suited for ages 5-12, but being that it is a very enticing structure... strong-willed toddlers will not let that fly. Our girls spent the most time on the climbing feature with the large slide but definitely needed help and hands-on supervision due to their ages. There are swings, baby, traditional and a rope style basket swing which was a hit with my kids. They enjoyed climbing on the rock pathway and playing house in the area for younger kids. There is a rubber climbing piece with holes on that structure that my girls used to slide down instead of climb up and they definitely could have fallen right off. The path to the viewing area has tons and tons of ant hills and colonies. We saw black and red ants. We got to the viewing area a few minutes after sunset and there were a handful of couples there. Not necessarily an area that feels suited to bouncy, loud little ones but we enjoyed it nonetheless."
"Cute little Trail it was a nice walk and an enjoyable place to get some fresh air and some scenery. The view from up there is amazing, it's under construction right now but the path they're building and the wall it's going to be absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go back when it's all finished and take some amazing photos so if you're looking for a short little walk in the city this is definitely an amazing place to go. I would recommend it for anyone, children, elderly and more experienced hikers all walks of life will enjoy this tiny well kept secret. There is quite the climb and limited parking spaces available but other than that it's absolutely great."
