"I ended up at Kendrick Lake Park completely by accident and I am glad I did!! There was a storm I was chasing through the area and I wanted to go somewhere good for the sunset so I ended up here! I highly recommend walking around the trail for the entire lake because the landscape changes quite a bit and you can get great shots from all around the lake. I found a beautiful Heron sitting in the bushes and it kept moving around the lake so it was great to get it from different vantage points. The lake is relatively small so the waves are not too bad which make for some still, peaceful shots of the lake. This is a great place to catch a sunset at a less crowded park near Denver!"

This is the best park I have seen in the area of Lakewood.its a well maintained park.They have a nice garden area that is walk through.you can sit and watch geese, ducks, and bunnies.Huge playground and plenty of fishing spots are there.I really liked this lake park."
