"Ron has done reasonably priced, solid machining work on a 351 Ford Windsor block for me and is currently doing the same on a 350 Chevy. They're my go-to engine machine shop in Colorado Springs. They've always been responsive, knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate requests."
"Offered a service that they were not comfortable doing and then “forgot” about it for 2 years. And I was given multiple excuses and “I’ll have it done by” that were not upheld. When I finally get the piece back… the brand new valve seals need replaced and just one of them is not what I provided (all super tech valvetrain, so really good quality parts). There are bits of epoxy dried on the insides of the exhaust ports. Which is a disaster waiting to happen. I have easily $1500 in valvetrain parts. And lack of attention to detail could have made it all for nothing. I had done business with them for a couple of years previously and had absolutely nothing bad to say. Always prompt, fair priced and good quality work. If you need simple work done I would still recommend acer. But if you have any custom jobs I have no comment. Now I am going to have to take my head to another machine shop to look over everything and fix any bs because I can’t trust it on an engine built to make north of 600 hp. I would’ve had no ill feelings if when the project was presented, I was told they were not comfortable doing it and that I should find someone else more versed in the work I was needing done. Very displeased."
"Clearly a very experienced individual on a very wide range of motors. This guys has engine blocks stacked to the ceiling. Ron cut new seats on my 94' 4runner heads for very reasonable price. Informative, helpful, and did the job just as fast, if no faster than any other machine shop in town. I was missing parts for my engine and he took personal time to find the part I needed - Which he just happened to have in his shop."
"2000 Saturn Blew a head gasket. It had been 40 years since I had done a repair like this. Ron and company were great. They cleaned, decked and inspected the head. Very Fair Priced. Also helped with a couple of stupid questions I had. My Saturn is back on the road and running GREAT! Highly Recommended!"
"They did a great job on my son's 2000 GT Mustang engine (eight vin number is X) Complete job of the engine, heads and clutch. This Mustang has the PI heads. They also help me out on the price...man does this thing run nice and strong."
