"I had this guy put rear tire on 1985 flhtc. He didn't check tapered wheel brg clearance, (I questioned this at the time). So he overtightened my brgs and they overheated and seized, ruining my axle and stranding me. After cutting my rear wheel free, the shims were inside the wheel hub and not on the axle. Gave this guy opportunity to respond and heard nothing. Don't use this hack."

My girlfriend turns 30 tomorrow & wanted to take a trip from Grand Junction to Utah tomorrow to celebrate. She took the day off work, not knowing that my bike was in no shape to take a long trip. The front shocks needed to be rebuilt, it needed a new front tire & the bearings were worn out, causing a death wobble when I’d let off the throttle. Revv’s Garage got the parts ordered immediately & he worked late last night, so the bike was ready a day early!
