"If you would like to treat the cause of your allergies and retrain your immune system with sublingual drop therapy, do not see this provider! She does not believe in sublingual drop therapy because it is not “FDA approved”. As a Doctor of Pharmacy, I know millions of treatments are prescribed every day for “off label” or “non-FDA approved” use. Sublingual drop therapy has over 50 years safety and efficacy studies, with positive results. Dr. Wunschel prefers to treat symptoms with medications rather than resolve the cause of the symptoms. There are real side effects that come with long term use of these medications. Taking medications for the rest of your life is not the only option. We will make the longer trip to Allergy Associates of Lacrosse for sublingual drop therapy. It’s worth the drive!"
