"I’ve never had one bad drink from Backgrounds, and I’ve gotten A LOT! I like how the coffee beans are freshly roasted and ground. The atmosphere is also super welcoming, and the baristas are all very kind. I love to hang out at Backgrounds when I need a quiet place to work or to meet up with friends. They also have the most unique handmade gifts that are all made by Iowa artisans!"
