"Great evening, easy ride to Perry for a deliciousness !! Give the honey Sriracha cauliflower a try... Remarkable! The butterfinger cheesecake was fabulous!!! I had the chicken Marsala, tender and tasty. Mrs. Had the tortellini Alfredo, was creamy but not heavy, thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful place, real craftsman style decor. Thanks for being there..!"

"My wife and I have been to the Cafe many of times for breakfast and lunch but had dinner for the first time last night. The service has always been very good and last night was no exception. We had a Filet De burgo that was unbelievable. Looking forward to doing it again and spending the night at one of the suites at the hotel. We highly recommend !! Great place to spend time with my amazing wife :)"

"Pattee Cafe is in the historic Hotel Pattee in Perry, Iowa . I came here to try the Eggs Benedict. My one star review is based solely on the Eggs Benedict. I have a "top ten" list for these. After our visit I could not rate it even in the top 30. My rating is based on 3 weights : 70% = taste 20% = presentation 10% = price With that in mind : 70% = taste: Hollandaise was tasteless & runny. Hash browns were awful (see picture) Asked for easy, soft poached eggs. Had to send back to correct. Could not eat the Hash browns. The English muffin was toasted but soggy. 20% = presentation: hard to describe (see picture) 10% = price: over priced. NOW WITH THAT SAID : The chef came out and talked with us about the meal. He apologized for the Benedicts and said that he is not a breakfast cook and not used to cooking it. We discussed and critiqued the "Bennys" . He said they are a new management and still working on the menu. We will give them some time and try it again later on. The waiter was friendly and cordial. The only day for the "Bennys" is on Sunday brunch ."

"We had an excellent family dinner here while staying at the hotel. Us adults had the bone in pork chop with whipped potatoes and Rigatoni Alla Vodka, both were phenomenal! The kids really liked their hamburgers and fries, which let's be honest, sometimes kids meals are an afterthought. The burgers were huge and the kids ate them all. Brunch was equally delicious."
