About the Business
Jester Hill Farm is a small boutique flower farm located near Jester Park just North of Grimes, Iowa. Specializing in growing a variety of cut flowers and lavender, our passion for flowers shines through in every stem we grow. Follow along with us on our flower journey as we make dreams come true, one flower at a time.
Join us for You-Pick dates during the 2024 summer season and experience the beauty of our flowers up close. We are also looking for volunteers in April and May, with the opportunity to receive two free bouquets from July to September.
Founded in 2021 by Mike and Lynette Wineland, Jester Hill Farm was inspired by a trip to Door County, Wisconsin in 2020. After seeing the lavender farms on Washington Island, Lynette's love for flowers led to the idea of growing lavender on their acreage. To enhance the beauty of the lavender, they planted a variety of cut flower plants and seeds, creating a stunning visual experience.
Both working full-time at an Ag company in Johnston, Mike and Lynette understand the challenges and rewards of farming. Their dedication to Jester Hill Farm is evident in every bloom.
