While Refund Advance is no longer available this year, Early Refund Advance was offered at select locations from December 11, 2023, until January 14, 2023, and No Fee Refund Advance was available at most locations from January 2, 2024, until February 11, 2024.

"We are fist timers with Jackson Hewitt. My first impression was not great. I made an appointment online over the weekend for Monday, turns out the location in Indianola was closed on Mondays(which the kiosk does not have any hours of operation on it and I was able to schedule an appointment even when they are “closed” I wasted 30 minutes of my evening there. Fast forward to today, I spoke with one of the managers from a different location as my rescheduled appointment for today had to be rescheduled again due to an illness. Finally got set up with the south side Des Moines location. We had the pleasure of working with Amanda. She was very professional and polite. She was very knowledgeable with tax information and kept us informed through the whole thing. Our taxes were a lot tougher this year due to some circumstances. Amanda was great to work with and we will be back. She deserves all the praise for her professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail."
