B&B Theatres Ankeny 12 & B-Roll Bowling

"Had a lot of fun bowling with a group of about 10 people-- easy set up in a new electronic system and easy access to kids aides (no bumpers that I saw but they had the supports that you could roll a ball down, to aim it down the center of the lane). One of the lanes had a ball get stuck but the staff were fixing it in no time. Good service and a fun time was had by all!"

"I've visited a handful of times already, enjoying food both on the theatre side and Sterling's, bowling, arcade games, and a movie! The food has all tasted great and the staff is always smiling and helpful. I can't wait for summer when my kids and I can spend most of our time here!"

"This place gets 1 star from me and my family. On two different occasions B&B has failed to provide a nice family atmosphere, especially when it comes to being “inclusive”. My experiences: in late November I reserved a lane for 7 people. We also order $100 worth of food. I order a drink and it took two hours to deliver me my drink. When then I was charged for a $9 drink that was suppose to be non-alcoholic, that did in fact have alcohol in it, that they did not re-make it. Then a group of 8 came in to the lane next to us. We were about 3 frames from being done with our game. This group was so incredibly dis respectful. Never walking in front of the to the lane, everytime they walked to bowl, we were “excuse us” to death. Which one or two times is acceptable, but I had my mother who was disabled and in a wheelchair, and my son that is physically and mentally disabled. When I asked the group to “please walk in front of your own group” the whole group stood up and started using profanity towards us. A gentleman from the group stood up and then got in my face and put his hands on me. And this was all after the Manager had noticed what was happening and he just stood there and stared. He eventually told me that if we couldn’t resolve the issue that MY group would be asked to leave. At this point my kids are in the arcade and I’m just waiting for them to finish up so we could go. Zero stars for the Manager. Now to my most recent visit. We had a reservation for 1/21/24 at 2pm for 4. (I made the reservation online, so they had all my info. Name. Number. Email.) We arrived 15 minutes early, per request of the establishment. After we get there we went to check in, and we were told that our lane was broken and they didn’t have anymore available for the day. My disabled son then began his meltdown, because he REALLY LOVES TO BOWL. I know things happen in life so I didn’t get too upset, until I was told that I would not be receiving my $47.22 back from reserving the lane and two pairs of shoes. The manager refused me my money back. Again, zero stars for the manager. Very disappointed in the establishment. Would give Zero stars if I could. Only rated one star so I could place a review on this terrible establishment."
